My buddy Joel had a box to check on his bucket list. He’d never been to Yosemite, and found himself in his job needing to burn a few days of PTO. We labored on this event quite a bit since this year had record snow fall and there was lots of rumors that many roads would be still closed. Despite having several plans in the back pocket (coast, inland, Moab?!?), we opted on the eve to stick to the original plan and brave the passes, tourists, and possible weather.
